Planning Applications

Planning Applications

Parish Councils are consulted by the relevant Planning Authority (in Dorney’s case it is Buckinghamshire Council) on all planning applications. Any views expressed by the Parish Council will be taken into account by the Planning Authority before a decision is made, providing the points made are relevant to the determination of a planning application.

However, the final decision is made by the Planning Authority, not the Parish Council.

How to examine planning documents online

Online documentation relating to any particular application can be accessed via the Bucks Council Planning Applications website – View Planning Applications.

If you know the full application number (eg 124/00133/FUL), type it into the Search Box at the bottom and then click the search button at the bottom of that page.

If you don’t know the application number, use the search facilities – the post code is usually the best.

There are weekly and monthly lists available. Always select Dorney Parish to restrict the list to a readable length.
